The Tachikawa Falcons are an American football team that has remained dedicated to TACHIKAWA for nearly half a century since our founding in 1973.
Back in the 1970s, American football was a sport almost entirely unknown in Japan. It is truly moving to think that a group of young, inexperienced beginners started this team from scratch in such an era, and that we continue to thrive today. We feel a deep responsibility to carry forward the traditions passed down since our inception.
Over the past 50 years, countless players, staff, and families have been part of our journey. Every one of these people is a member of the ``Falcons Family,`` and it is our sincere hope that these bonds with the team will be cherished forever.
About 隼会 (Alumni Association)
隼会 is an organization dedicated to the former players and staff of the Tachikawa Falcons. All alumni are automatically considered members, fostering a community based on voluntary participation rather than rigid rules.
Our mission involves:
- Alumni Relations: Organizing BBQs and social gatherings to strengthen our bonds.
- Financial Contributions: Supporting the team's operations through charitable donations.
- Event Management: Planning and executing major milestones, such as founding anniversary celebrations.
- Active Support: Providing mentorship and encouragement to current players through game-day attendance.
Our community is driven by the initiative of alumni and current members who are passionate about the team's future.
